Campbell Hatton faced Sonni Martinez as part of the undercard for the Anthony Joshua vs Oleksandr Usyk mega card this weekend.

The fight would come down to the final bell, with Hatton looking shaken towards the end of the contest and Martinez potentially set to take the W.

When Hatton was announced as the winner via points, the fans inside of Tottenham Hotspur Stadium showed their disapproval, and loudly.

It wasn’t just the fans inside the stadium who felt that the contest was extremely misjudged, as boxing fans online would let Matchroom know just how far off the mark the judging appeared to be.

One fan wrote: “Campbell Hatton didn’t win a single round yet gets the decision, that says everything about what is going to happen if the Joshua Usyk fight goes the distance. Once again proving that non-British fighters need to get a KO to get a draw!”

Even fans of the fighter could not believe that Hatton got the decision win. “As much as I like Campbell Hatton and think he’s going to be a great fighter one day, I have to say: He didn’t win that fight.”

Another viewer was even more succinct in their disapproval of the judge’s decision, saying “Campbell Hatton was well beaten there. That’s f*cking shocking.”
