Chelsea 0-1 Man City: Cesar Azpilicueta's bizarre challenge on Jack Grealish goes viral

Manchester City produced a brilliant performance to defeat Chelsea at Stamford Bridge on Saturday afternoon.

The first half was a drab affair with Chelsea more intent in defending rather than going forward.

Pep Guardiola's side imposed their dominance after the break and they would go on to win 1-0.

Gabriel Jesus netted the only goal of the game in the 53rd minute to give his side all three points.

Just before the Brazilian's winner, there was a bizarre moment involving Cesar Azpilicueta and Jack Grealish.

The Spaniard gave a foul away after bundling Grealish over.

“Until the goal, we were very, very strong in the last 20m of the field, but only there, unfortunately, and there are another 80m left where we were not good enough today to escape pressure, to have ball possession - and not only ball possession to breathe, but ball possession to switch play, to hurt them and to grow in confidence.

"We were not on our very best level, and you need your very best level to push a game like this to your side.”

Former wonderkid but injuries ruined my football career (honestly). Once scored a last second equaliser against Charlton. Probably the biggest Jonjo Shelvey fan on the planet.
