The Gypsy King Tyson Fury took straight to Twitter to mock Anthony Joshua after he suffered the second defeat of his boxing career at the hands of Oleksandr Usyk.

The heavyweight champion lost all three of his belts as Oleksandr Usyk put on a masterclass for the ages.

Joshua was outclassed in dramatic fashion by the Ukrainian as the Watford-born superstar was picked apart across 12 rounds in a fight where he never truly looked comfortable.

Usyk was quicker than Joshua, lighter on his feet and simply appeared to be too much for the heavyweight to handle.

As expected, it wasn't long before The Gypsy King had something to say about it.

A fight between Joshua and Fury has long been on the cards and the two men have been involved in a war of words for as long as any of us can remember. But delays due to other commitments have meant that the fight is still yet to materialise.

Tyson Fury was forced into a third rematch with Deontay Wilder and Joshua will now exercise the rematch clause against Usyk in an attempt to regain his lost belts.

The situations surrounding the two men make it hard to believe that we will see them in the ring together anytime soon.

This will be especially true if AJ is unsuccessful in a rematch between himself and Usyk, as fighting Joshua for zero belts will hardly be an attractive proposition for Fury.

But of course, none of this stopped Tyson Fury from mocking Joshua on Twitter, as he took to the platform after the fight to retweet a picture of himself alongside the words "And STILL the best heavyweight on the planet".

However as enjoyable as the rivalry between the pair is, it's safe to say most boxing fans will be left disappointed if a clash between the two heavyweight heroes never emerges.
