Anthony Joshua left the ring last night three belts down after the Ukrainian Oleksandr Usyk picked him apart over 12 rounds.

The world heavyweight champion was beaten emphatically by the ex-cruiserweight on a night that he will surely want to forget. Joshua looked slow and laboured in stark contrast to the spritely Ukrainian.

Usyk was quick on his feet and even quicker with his hands as he wore Joshua down round by round.

Usyk was sharp in the opening rounds as Joshua began slowly, appearing to ease his way into the fight.

Whilst it seemed that Joshua's approach might have been working in the middle rounds, Usyk appeared to gain a second wind as he finished the bout almost as strongly as he started.

The judges scored the fight unanimously in favour of the Ukrainian, and almost everyone who watched the fight agreed.

Joshua was completely outclassed by Usyk in almost every aspect of the fight, with little doubt left in the minds of fans over who would be victorious at the final bell.

Anthony Joshua wasn't the only one mocked after the fight however as his promoter Eddie Hearn was taunted by fans on his way out of the arena.

Whilst the majority of fans chose to aim their remarks at the fighter, one fan decided to pick on the promoter, Eddie Hearn. In a video posted to Twitter, a fan can be heard shouting in the direction of Hearn "Eddie, you p****!".

Understandably Hearn wasn't in the best of moods after watching his prizefighter beaten in dramatic fashion, and he was quick to snap back.

Hearn immediately stopped and turned back to the crowd asking repeatedly:

"What did you say? What did you say?", after receiving no response from the fan in question Hearn angrily barked "You've s*** yourself now you little p****!".

Anyone familiar with the boxing promoter will know that it's far from unusual for Hearn to make his feelings known, as the promoter has made plenty of controversial statements in the past.

Hearn has also previously admitted, "I can't say I don't enjoy the limelight", so it's probably safe to say we can expect him to continue in this fashion.
