Just over a year after the game was released, Valorant finally looks set to have a kill counter for players in-game.
A Kill counter is something that a chunk of the Valorant community have been requesting for quite some time, and it appears as though recent leaks have confirmed that it is finally coming.
Here’s everything that we currently know about the new Kill counter skins that are coming to Valorant.
According to ValorLeaks, the kill counter will be coming to the game as part of a skin upgrade. They said: “Kill Counters are coming to valorant as a skin upgrade in the future.
“It’s like an upgrade for the skin, just like how you have VFX for skins and the Randomizer on the Recon skins. It’s just a kill counter upgrade for future skins.”
Is Valorant getting a kill counter?
With ValorLeaks revealing that the kill counters are coming, it just remains to be seen when Riot Games will be releasing the new skins to the player base.
Skins can be purchased in Valorant to customize your loadout and overall gaming experience. There are already a number of available skins to purchase in-game, with collaborations alongside the likes of musician and DJ Zedd having just been released.
There’s no indication as to when Riot will be confirming the new skins themselves, however, they are expected to be released as part of Episode 3 Act 3 or Patch 3.07.
The VALORANT GO! bundle is expected to be released shortly as well, likely again with the release of a new Act. The GO! bundle is a return of the anime-themed skin, although now in a Volume 2 package.
The GO! bundle is expected to cost around 8700VP and will come with gun buddies and sprays as well as skins.
It is expected that the new skins will be for Classic, Ares, Operator, Knife and Vandal. The Gun Buddies will apparently be 475VP to buy individually.
