Aaron Ramsdale played like a man possessed during Arsenal's 3-1 win over Tottenham Hotspur. There were no shortage of eyebrows raised when the Gunners decided to splash out £25.20 million on the English shot-stopper despite already having Bernd Leno on their books.Besides, Ramsdale had previously only played two seasons in the Premier League and suffered relegations in both of them, dropping to the Championship with Bournemouth and Sheffield United.

Ramsdale at Arsenal

And while Ramsdale admirably turned things around at Bramall Lane despite the Blades finishing rock bottom, there's no denying that his early months at the club were defined by inconsistent form.

But alas, forget all of the above because Ramsdale has silenced his doubters since pulling on an Arsenal jersey and currently boasts a record of just one goal conceded in his first four outings.

Ramsdale oversaw Premier League shutouts against Norwich City and Burnley, as well as in the Carabao Cup at West Bromwich Albion, coming into the weekend's north London derby.

Save of the season?

And despite conceding his first goal for the Gunners to Heung-min Son, the 23-year-old delivered his best performance yet under Mikel Arteta and was arguably the deserving Man of the Match.

In fact, Ramsdale even became the proud owner of the Premier League save of the season so far with an outrageous stop to deny Lucas Moura in the 90th minute which you can check out here:

Natural-born Gunner

Not only is that a jaw-dropping touch, but just look at the passionate reaction and demands for improvement from Ramsdale just a few seconds afterwards - that's the passion you love to see.

And dear reader, that certainly wasn't the first nor last time that Ramsdale proved he was a natural-born Gunner because we nearly lost count of the amount of endearing moments he produced.

From proudly labelled Bukayo Saka as 'my number seven' to passionately celebrating with Takehiro Tomiyasu, you can check out Ramsdale's best moments from his Tottenham masterclass here:

Arsenal fans fall in love

In fact, we'd go as far as to say that Arsenal fans have fallen in love with Ramsdale after such a stunning derby day performance, so be sure to check out some of the reaction on Twitter below:

So far, so good

Ok, sure, we can't put the cart before the horse when Ramsdale has only played four times and has Leno breathing down his neck, but it's fair to say that he hasn't put a foot wrong so far.

While it's too early to say for certain that Ramsdale's eye-catching transfer fee was bang on the money, you can guarantee that it will look like an absolute bargain if he can maintain this form.

But based on Sunday's evidence, rest assured that Ramsdale will give 100 per cent effort to the cause whether he's at the top of his game or not.
