It seems like WWE has some pretty big plans when it comes to their special events in 2022, with the company planning several stadium shows next year.
Sean Ross Sapp of Fightful has reported on Twitter that, WWE is planning on holding 'eight nights of stadium shows' in 2022.
It's important to note that Sapp isn't reporting that eight separate WWE shows are going to held in stadiums, so it seems like there is some scope for WWE events to be held over two nights again.
WWE has just announced that the Royal Rumble 2022 will be held at The Dome in St. Louis next year, which will be one of the stadium shows the company puts on.
With the A&T Stadium in Texas set to host WrestleMania 38, you can safely say that the big event will be taking up either one or two of the eight planned stadium shows.
Similarly with SummerSlam this year at the Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas, it seems like WWE could be planning on having the "biggest party of the summer" in a much bigger venue next year.
WWE is contracted to hold at least two events in Saudi Arabia per year, and with those events taking place in stadiums, you can also safely assume that they are going to be two of the events Sapp is talking about.
One of the other stadium shows that will be taking place in 2022 is a huge pay-per-view over in the UK, at least if new reports are to be believed.
A recent report has claimed that WWE is going to be holding a pay-per-view in the UK in September 2022, with the company hoping to fit 90,000 fans into a stadium over here.
