Since returning from giving birth to her first child, Becky Lynch has taken the WWE world by storm.

The Man temporarily left the show as the Raw women's champion and has returned by muscling the SmackDown title from Bianca Belair, who had held the belt for more than 100 days prior.

Since her return, Lynch has also adopted a new role on WWE, turning heel for the first time in her wrestling career.

And she has taken to her new persona like a duck to water – already causing huge upset by gatecrashing Belair's homecoming celebrations in Knoxville.

On Sunday night, Lynch retained her title at Extreme Rules, making the comeback from such a long time out look effortless.

The Man has tipped a similar scenario for Ronda Rousey, who is currently taking time away on maternity leave.

"She’s probably having her baby any day now, right? We’ll see," the Irish star said during a recent press conference. "I know she’s ambitious and so I think having this baby is going to light a fire under her ass.

"She’s seen what I can accomplish straight off and she might come searching."

Lynch took a total of 15 months away from WWE after the birth of her daughter Roux. Talks of her rumoured return went on for months as supporters clamoured for the comeback of The Man.

It took just 26 seconds of being back in the ring for Lynch to win a title – emerging victorious from the SummerSlam pay-per-view after completely squashing The EST of WWE.

Rousey definitely has the credentials and experience to make an iconic return. She is a former MMA fighter and Olympic bronze medallist and held the Raw women's championship title for 231 days – the longest ever red brand reign until Lynch herself set a new record.
