FIFA 22 Meta Squad

Thanks to the use of Futwiz’s Squad Builder, our squad is purely based on a low budget so they won’t be the best players in the world that you can get your hands on in FUT, but the team as a whole will be stupidly overpowered.

We are talking about centre-backs with pace, a dynamic midfield with a beautiful blend of pace, vision and power – finishing off with clinical wingers and a striker that knows where the back of the net is.

Despite having some red lines in there, our squad has 97 chemistry and an overall rating of 70. Please bear in mind, however, that we have not used substitutes are focusing primarily on the first XI.

Here is the squad that we believe you will hugely benefit from in FIFA 22:

  • GK – Roman Burki (Borussia Dortmund)
  • RB – Mário Fernandes (CSKA Moscow)
  • CB – Georgi Dzhikiya (Spartak Moscow)
  • CB – Manuel Akanji (Borussia Dortmund)
  • LB – Nico Schulz (Borussia Dortmund)
  • CM – Quincy Promes (Spartak Moscow)
  • CM – Donyell Malen (Borussia Dortmund)
  • CM – Emre Can (Borussia Dortmund)
  • RW – Portu (Real Sociedad)
  • LW – José Luis Morales (Levante UD)
  • ST – Darwin Machís (Granada)

As you can see, this is a hybrid squad with players from the Bundesliga, Russian Premier League and La Liga – while still managing to secure the all-important chemistry required.

This team will cost you a total of 42,900 and is ideal to start off with. However, Emre Can will take up the majority of that budget. At the time of writing, he is on the market for over 20,000 coins.

As mentioned above, this blend of pace and power but not much money can take you a long way and is an ideal team for you to get started in this year’s Ultimate Team.

Of course, this will change as updates arrive and the real-life season progresses so we will update this if a better team comes to our attention.

Do you agree with our selection? Should we have gone down another route? Are there better meta squads out there? Get in touch and let us know!
