Oleksandr Usyk became the new WBA (Super), IBF, WBO and IBO heavyweight champion on Saturday evening after defeating Anthony Joshua at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.
The Ukrainian handed his opponent the second defeat of his career while maintaining his 100% win record in the process.
He won the fight via unanimous decision with the judges scoring the bout 117-112, 116-112 and 115-113.
A video has since emerged on social media that shows Joshua's immediate reaction upon Usyk being announced the winner. AJ can be seen acting surprised at first before simply shrugging and accepting defeat.
A lot has been said about Joshua's reaction, with many fans pointing out how he seemed genuinely surprised after his opponent was announced the winner, despite the fact the general consensus is that the Ukrainian dominated the entirety of the fight.
One fan said: "He had to fake a look of surprise for a split second!" Another wrote: "It was AJ's face acting like he was surprised about the decision that got me."
One commented: "Stupid reaction from AJ. Pretend to be shocked and lift his arms."
It is a bit baffling that Joshua's jaw dropped a bit when Usyk was adjudged the winner, especially after being completely outclassed during the fight.
It'll be interesting to see if the Brit says something regarding his reaction to the announcement.
The fight was expected to be a tightly contested one, but it was anything but. Usyk was all over Joshua, who never looked in the condition to fight back.
After the bout, AJ was taken to hospital for suspected eye socket damage.
A rematch between the two is on the cards, and if that happens, Usyk will be the overwhelming favourite to win.
Moreover, the chances of Joshua fighting Tyson Fury now seems even slimmer than before.
