Boxing legend Mike Tyson has asked fans on Twitter whether either of Oleksandr Usyk or Anthony Joshua would be able to defeat him in his prime after watching the pair do battle over the weekend.

Joshua and Usyk fought at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium on Saturday, with the latter winning via unanimous decision with judges' scorecards reading 117-112, 116-112 and 115-113.

The fight was pretty one-sided truth be told, with the Ukrainian being completely dominant, while Joshua struggled to find his feet and his rhythm.

Regarding the bout, Tyson wrote on Twitter: "After watching the Joshua vs Usyk fight, maybe they had a bad day that night. From that performance do you really think they could have beat me in my prime?"

Most fans said that neither of them would be able to defeat Tyson at his best, but one did say: "Tyson Fury would do you. Boxing is different to your day."

Of course, we will never see that fight take place, but prime Tyson would certainly be a lot to handle for either Usyk or Joshua.

Iron Mike has been training hard and looks in good shape. Fans would certainly love to see him back in the ring.

His trainer Rafael Cordeiro said a while ago: "I think we’re going to have something in September. I don’t know who because his company Legends Only League is working on it and negotiating a TV deal so they can announce a schedule, but we’re training. We’ll be fighting in September.”

However, with the month nearly coming to an end, there seems no chance of Tyson having an exhibition bout.

Hopefully we'll see something happen in the upcoming months.
