UFL will be the latest title added to the mix competing to be the best virtual football sim on the gaming market.

Strikerz Inc, the developers, will be looking to challenge giant companies such as EA and Konami to assert dominance in this hugely competitive sector of the industry, one that the FIFA franchise has been in control of for many years.

With such little information known about Ultimate Football League, as its abbreviation stands for, it is not yet known what this all-new title with entail.

That being said, UFL has been created on Unreal Engine which is a well-respecting gaming system, so this proves that ambition to be at the top of the pile as far as football games go could have some traction.

Strikerz have said that their game is "a revolutionary new global online football league" and are committed to the concept of fair play which was heavily featured during their world reveal earlier this year.

The great news is that, yes, UFL will be completely free to play from the off, taking a similar route to what Konami has opted for with their revamped eFootball 2022.

At the time of writing, there is no indication what platforms UFL will be available for but we expect it to range from next-gen gaming, right through to iOS and Android.
