The new MMO title from Amazon Games, New World, was finally released on Tuesday 28th September 2021, but what specs will players need to get an optimum experience in the new title?

Amazon Games has promised a thrilling, open-world MMO with the new IP, with endless opportunities to fight, forage and forge on the supernatural island of Aeternum.

The company are hoping that the new IP will be a major hit with MMO players, as some prior releases from Amazon Games have struggled to get a foothold with either casual or hardcore gamers, such as Crucible.

The 50v50 multiplayer War mode may take a big chunk of processing power, with teams fighting over a fort that comes complete with siege weapons.

Amazon Games confirmed that a Day One patch was released as part of the new release of the game on Tuesday, September 28th, which added some bug fixes amongst other things.

The exploits that were fixed were believed to be causing issues across the game in general, and Amazon Games were hoping that the changes being implemented would help to make the experience in the new MMO as user friendly as possible.
