Battlefield 2042 Beta: Download Size (Leaked)

Battlefield 2042 Beta will start on 8th October 2021.

Battlefield 2042 is just around the corner with huge segments of the gaming community eager to get stuck into the upcoming beta test.

Arguably, the massively popular first-person mass warfare shooter stole the show during EA Play Live back in the summer – largely thanks to the showcase of their all-new game mode Portal which got plenty of positive reactions from fans.

Players don’t have to wait much longer now, with Early Access beginning on 6th October with the full Open Beta following just two days later on 8th October.

EA and DICE recently released some footage advertising what will be involved in the beta as well as what gamers can fully access before the game’s release later in the year.

Scroll down to view the official trailer that was unveiled via the game’s YouTube channel ahead of the technical playtest.

Battlefield 2042 Beta Download Size

With this in mind, players will be wondering how much space that they will need to reserve in order to play the Battlefield 2042 Beta.

Thanks to PlayStation Game Size, we managed to find this crucial bit of information early – with 16.861 GB worth of space required.

However, please bear in mind that this does not include any possible updates or day one patches, which could bolster this by an extra 10 GB – so we would advise that you save a bit more space than you need just in case!

Battlefield 2042 will be launched on 19th November 2021 for PS5, PS4, PC, Xbox Series X/S and Xbox One.
