Far Cry 6 is coming and the developers have released another new cinematic trailer showcasing elements of the intriguing storyline.
Ubisoft will be launching the sixth mainline instalment of the hugely successful first-person shooter that has given birth to some iconic characters over the years - ever since the game's introduction to the gaming industry back in 2004.
With the franchise making its introduction on next-gen platforms PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S, ray tracing will provide an even more immersive experience with players being taken to a civil warzone on the island of Yara, where Anton Castillo ruled the roost.
Far Cry 6 is one of the biggest new releases this year with gamers seeing through the eyes of activist Dani Rojas, a local Yaran and a former soldier in the armed forces who is looking to topple Castillo by any means necessary.
With this in mind, more details about the story have now been made public by Ubisoft ahead of the game's release in a few weeks.

Titled 'Chicharrón Run', gamers got to see an insight into one of Far Cry 6's main characters, Chicharrón, and shows us her background and deadly fighting tendencies.

Chicharrón is part of the Amigo feature in Far Cry 6 that allows Dani to travel with animal companions as they aim to take down Castillo and end his dictatorship. This is only a cinematic trailer, but Chicharrón can cause a similar amount of chaos as a companion in the game.
From what we've seen, Chicharrón may be a crucial asset in terms of helping you achieve those goals. We do not have long to wait to find out.
Far Cry 6 will be released on 12th October 2021 for PS5, PS4, PC, Xbox Series X/S and Xbox One.
