With the release of FIFA 22 this week, fans have already reacted to the forever controversial topic of player ratings.
And if any Premier League fans are wondering the most questionable rating of their favourite club, HITC Sport has made a video telling you exactly that.
Titled “Your Club’s STUPID Player Rating On FIFA 22”, the YouTuber breaks down the most bizarre rating choices made by EA in this year’s latest instalment of the game.

Arsenal: Ben White - 76
The new signing from Brighton was brought in to strengthen the Gunners’ defence after a disappointing campaign last season, and he didn’t come cheap. The 24-year-old cost around £50 million to make the switch to the London club, and Arsenal fans will be hoping he performs better in real life than his FIFA card!
Aston Villa: John McGinn - 78
Brentford: Ivan Toney - 76
Brighton: Shane Duffy - 72
Burnley: Maxwel Cornet - 75
Chelsea: Andreas Christensen - 80
Despite becoming a Champions League and Super Cup winner, as well as a remarkable EUROs campaign with Denmark last season, the centre-back is still only rewarded with a measly 80. It can likely be put down to the star’s lack of playing time in comparison to his other defensive counterparts, however, Chelsea fans are adamant the rating is still too harsh.
Crystal Palace: Conor Gallagher - 76
Everton: Lucas Digne - 84
Leeds: Illan Meslier - 77
Leicester: Wesley Fofana - 78
The 20-year-old Frenchman suffered an injury in August that unfortunately put his season on hold for now, but pre-injury, the youngster was making his mark on the Premier League, showing his attacking and defensive capabilities for the Foxes. The rating may seem low now, but will no doubt be higher by next season.
Liverpool: Harvey Elliott - 73
Another youngster whose season is on hold due to injury, the 18-year-old was cementing his place in Liverpool’s starting 11 after an impressive loan spell at Fulham last season, scoring seven goals in 41 appearances for the club.
Manchester City: Gabriel Jesus - 83
Following Sergio Aguero’s departure and City’s lack of action in the transfer window, it made Jesus the only viable option as a central striker this season, with it being his natural position. With the quality attacking options surrounding the Brazilian on FIFA 22, he may unfortunately be left on the bench a few times this season too.
Manchester United: Mason Greenwood - 78
In what was a season of mixed emotions for United fans, with finishing second but losing the Europa League final, a bright spark throughout it all was the development of the 19-year-old. He ended the season with 12 goals in all competitions, and saw his team out of some difficult situations with his quick feet and finishing, but it still wasn’t enough to reach the 80 mark.
Newcastle United: Allan Saint-Maximin - 79
Norwich City: Ozan Kabak - 76
Southampton: Tino Livramento - 61
Tottenham Hotspur: Sergio Reguilon - 81
Spurs started the season strong last year, and the addition of the ex-Real Madrid left-back had fans feeling hopeful, yet it still wasn’t enough to see the team in a Champions League place at the end of the year - and consequently saw the Spaniard’s rating decrease to 81.
Watford: Ben Foster - 78
West Ham: Alphonse Areola - 82
Wolves: Raul Jimenez - 83
