Few names in the boxing world can boast the same kind of widespread popularity as Tyson Fury.

The Gypsy King's incredible comeback story has cemented him as a firm favourite among both die-hard and casual fans of the sport.

Alongside the inspiring story surrounding his return to the ring is an eccentric and often bizarre persona that particularly in the last few years, has seen his fanbase grow significantly.

A big part of that showmanship has come via Fury's ring walks, which have a tendency of going that extra mile.

Below, we've picked out a few of his best to date.

VS Tom Schwarz (2019)

Marking his Vegas debut in supreme style, Fury channeled his inner Apollo Creed as he stepped out to face Tom Schwarz at the MGM Grand.

Beginning his walk in a simple, all-black gown, it became immediately apparent that the initially understated outfit choice was a smokescreen for a much more flamboyant tribute to the States.

Soundtracked by the iconic Living in America—another nod to Rocky—Fury unveiled his stars and stripes attire as he began endearing himself to the American fans.

VS Deontay Wilder II (2020)

Given the controversial way Fury's first meeting with Wilder ended, build-up to the rematch was understandably intense.

The Gypsy King said he'd pull out something special for his entrance this time round. He certainly delivered on that promise.

Making it abundantly clear that he believed his status as the best heavyweight in the world was secure, Fury opted to be carried to the ring upon a throne, soundtracked by Patsy Cline's 1961 hit, Crazy.

VS Otto Wallin (2019)

Fury's bout with Otto Wallin fell on Mexican Independence Weekend and naturally, the Brit had his own special way of celebrating the occasion.

Prior to the event, he donned a Mexican wrestling mask at the weigh-ins, though we'd soon find out that was just a teaser of what was to come on fight night.

After changing his nickname to El Rey Gitano, Fury entered the arena sporting a traditional poncho and sombrero while accompanied by a Mariachi band.

Explaining the ring walk at the time, Fury said it was his own way of paying tribute.

"We have Mexicans on the team, we have our trainer Jorge. He has been with us for the last few camps here." He said.

"We have got a lot of Mexican influence around us here. We show respect to all cultures and religions and all walks of life.

VS Sefer Seferi (2018)

This was always going to be special. After more than two years away from the sport, Fury finally stepped back out on home soil to a rapturous atmosphere.

Initially appearing to Eminem's Without Me, the soundtrack switched to a reworked version of Afroman's Because I got High.

A tongue-in-cheek nod to the troubles that led to his hiatus, the usual lyrics were switched to:

“I was going to get in the ring, but then I got high,
“I was going to beat up Wlad [Klitschko] again, but then I got high.
“I sold out Manchester and I know why, because I got high, because I got high, because I got high.”

With just days to go before a third and final meeting with Wilder, it's probably safe to assume we'll see something special again from Fury.

Wilder himself has already hinted that he too has something big planned, a potentially risky approach given the now-infamous excuses connected to his costume last time.
