Jurgen Klopp has well and truly transformed Liverpool since his arrival in October 2015.The bespectacled German took a historic club that was mired in mediocrity and meticulously crafted it in his own 'heavy metal' image, hauling them from mid-table regularity to near domestic invincibility. It certainly wasn't an overnight fix, with Klopp tinkering and tailoring over the years to build a side that would go on to dominate Europe and the world. However, one of the biggest turning points for Klopp's machine was the signing of the one and only Mohamed Salah. The Egyptian King has been revolutionary during his second spell in England, making the Premier League his playground and scoring an obscene amount of goals from the wing.He netted a staggering 44 goals in his opening season with the Reds and, while he has not quite been able to replicate those heady heights since, he continues to break records.p1fgp3rdu91v1k5qb7101sar9tub.jpgEnter GiveawayIn truth, Salah just doesn't get the sort of credit he deserves as he continues to find the back of the net with alarming ease. One of his best performances for the club came in his opening season when, in December 2018, he picked a hapless Bournemouth side apart with a supreme performance.Liverpool would go on to win the game 0-4 with Salah bagging a hat-trick and, unsurprisingly, the Egyptian speedster was named man of the match.

However, in a wholesome moment that summed up the identity of this Klopp side, Salah refused to accept the award when teammate James Milner was asked to present it to him.

Dove-tailing in a post match interview, Salah and Milner spoke about the game in general, with Milner celebrating his 500th appearance in the Premier League.

As Milner tried to hand Mo the award, Salah simply refused to accept it, saying Milner was far more deserving of the award having achieved a truly special landmark in his career. You can see the moment in the video below:

"I have to congratulate him for his amazing career. I hope I have more games like this in my career. But I will not take it [the award from Milner],” Salah explained.

Brilliant.

Milner is one of the true unsung heroes of this brilliant Liverpool side and, while he might not have shown it, you can be sure Salah's gesture will have meant a lot to him.

He might not be your quintessential headline grabber, but Milner is absolutely one of the most important players at Anfield and Salah knows it.
