Sky Sports reporter Michael Bridge believes that Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg is overrated.
How has Hojbjerg performed this season?
The midfielder, signed by Jose Mourinho for £15m from Southampton last summer, enjoyed a fine first season at Tottenham and was one of just two ever-present outfield players in the Premier League.
Hojbjerg, who earns £100,000 per-week still hasn't missed a minute in the league, but his performances have dropped off massively in recent weeks.
His WhoScored rating is still a respectable 7.02, which puts him third at Spurs behind Lucas Moura and Heung Min Son, although that says more about how poor the squad are playing than Hojbjerg himself.
Hojbjerg was superb in the victory over Manchester City, but his displays against Crystal Palace and then Arsenal on Sunday were worryingly bad. In the north London derby, the Dane seemed a far cry from his usual hard-working self for Emile Smith-Rowe's opening goal before half-heartedly trying to beat Granit Xhaka to the ball, which resulted in Arsenal's second.
Hojbjerg has often been a reliable figure for Tottenham, but Bridge has questioned the midfielder by saying that he thinks he's overrated.

What did Bridge say?
He told GIVEMESPORT: "I'm going to be controversial here – I think Hojbjerg is overrated. I know he works very hard; I think he's a top-ten player and I think he's an amazing professional. But I don't think he's top drawer, but he will always start."
Does Hojbjerg deserve to be dropped?
Spurs have far big problems right now than Hojbjerg's form, but some of what the midfielder has served up in recent weeks has been questionable.
He played in a more advanced central midfield role at the Euro's, chipping in with three assists in six matches. However, Hojbjerg needs to leave that for when he plays for Denmark. On several occasions against Arsenal, he was caught miles out of position when he's meant to be providing protection for the defence.
If anyone of the three midfielders that started the derby deserved to be dropped, the former Saints man would be third on that list, but Tottenham cannot afford for him to be playing at his current level.
