Randy Orton was noticeably absent from Monday Night Raw this week, and we now have a pretty good idea why.

PWInsider is reporting that Randy Orton is currently "not cleared to perform", which is almost certainly why he wasn't on Monday Night Raw this week.

Randy Orton's, whose last match came on the September 20 episode of  Raw against AJ Styles, was also missing from a live event last week, despite being advertised to appear on the show.

WWE Raw Tag Team Champion Randy Orton was not at this past Monday's Raw taping, PWInsider.com has confirmed. The word making the rounds backstage was that he was not "cleared to perform."

As noted, details surrounding the reason why Randy Orton hasn't been cleared to perform right now are not yet known, so stay tuned to GiveMeSport for any additional information on the matter.

Randy Orton isn't the only WWE Raw star who can't compete right now, as Alexa Bliss has been taken off TV to reportedly undergo surgery.

Reports have indicated that Alexa Bliss, who is slated to have a sinus operation in the near future, is going to be off television for several months.

Sheamus also underwent surgery yesterday, with the former WWE Champion having an operation on his nose for the second time in 2021.

However, unlike with Randy Orton, we have a pretty good idea of when Sheamus is going to be back, with reports suggesting the WWE Raw star is only set to miss "a few weeks".
