Unseen footage from last week’s heavyweight clash between Anthony Joshua and Oleksandr Usyk has shown the Brit’s confidence ahead of a possible rematch.

The fight took place on September 25 at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium in London and saw Usyk win the fight via unanimous decision after seeing out all 12 rounds.

Matchroom Boxing has released a documentary from the night, showing up close and personal footage from inside the ring following the clash.

A notable moment from the video came just after the bell rang signalling the end of round 12, a round that was heavily dominated by the Ukrainian, and AJ made his way over to his corner to receive treatment from his team.

After raising his gloves to the crowd in appreciation, Usyk approaches Joshua’s corner, and the two show an incredible act of sportsmanship.

Joshua remarks: “Wanna go again? Now I know how to beat you?” with a smile, and is met with a laugh and embrace from his opponent.

The two talk for a few moments before the official decision is announced, and the mutual respect between the two is clear for all to see.

The clash saw Usyk’s career record remain perfect, as his unbeaten streak was extended to an impressive 19-0.

Joshua, on the other hand, was handed only his second career defeat, which sees his record stand at 24-2.

Currently, there is no official agreement for a rematch between the two fighters.

It is believed that the Englishman’s team has activated the rematch clause, and Usyk’s promoter Alexander Krassyuk has stated he expects the rematch to go ahead in “February or March”.

It is also rumoured that ‘The Cat’ is eyeing up a clash with fellow unbeaten and WBC heavyweight champion Tyson Fury, who faces Deontay Wilder in their trilogy fight on October 9.
