Wolverhampton Wanderers defender Yerson Mosquera's long-term injury has come as a "massive blow", according to Express & Star journalist Luke Hatfield.
How long is Mosquera expected to be out of action for?
Mosquera has been ruled out for up to five months after suffering a hamstring injury.
The centre-half suffered the 'high grade' problem during the Carabao Cup third round clash with Premier League rivals Tottenham Hotspur last week and will have to undergo surgery as he begins his road to recovery.
It meant Mosquera's Wolves debut did not go to plan as he was forced off after just nine minutes of the encounter at Molineux.
Mosquera became the club's first signing under head coach Bruno Lage following his June appointment as Nuno Espirito Santo's successor.
After securing the 20-year-old's arrival from Colombian side Atletico Nacional, technical director Scott Sellars confirmed Mosquera had been on Wolves' radar for some time and Lage felt the centre-half had the "perfect profile".

Hatfield admits Mosquera's injury has come as a huge blow to the defender and Wolves.
He fears Lage has been left with few defensive options due to the lay-off.
But the journalist hopes the long-term injury will not have a lasting impact on Mosquera's development.

Hatfield told GMS: "It's a big loss for the club because the squad size isn't big and they're working with smaller numbers than many other clubs.
"The timing is always a massive blow so it's a real shame.
"Hopefully he can come out of it the other end and show what he's all about because they signed him for that quality that he's clearly got. He's got plenty years still to come."
How does Mosquera's absence have an impact on Lage's defensive options?
Mosquera had been overlooked in the Premier League campaign so far, with the summer recruit only being an unused substitute for two fixtures and not even getting into the matchday squad for the other three top flight matches before his injury.
However, Lage will now only have four central defenders - Conor Coady, Max Kilman, Romain Saiss and Willy Boly - to call upon while the Colombian is on the treatment table.
Coady, Kilman and Saiss have started all of Wolves' Premier League clashes so far but, having seen his side suffer four defeats from six outings, Lage could have been mulling over whether to give Mosquera a chance to shine in the English top flight for the first time.
