Insomniac Games have created a dynasty as far as this element of the Marvel universe is concerned, taking players over the shoulder of one of the most iconic characters in comic book history.
Along with that, they have regularly provided stunning visuals in huge open worlds that the likes of Peter Parker and Miles Morales have been able to take full advantage of.
The recent world reveal trailer during 2021’s PlayStation Showcase provided a small clip of the two men side by side – which generated speculation regarding whether a two-player story mode was on the cards.
Just imagine playing as either Peter Parker or Miles Morales and your friend can join you on a mission to keep Forest Hills in order.
Will A Co-op Campaign Be Added To Marvel’s Spider-Man 2?
This is a prospect that we are salivating over. However, there has been no official confirmation as of yet regarding whether a co-op campaign will be made available in Marvel’s Spider-Man 2.
It would make sense – considering the fact that both characters were spotted during the trailer, which you can watch here (via Marvel Entertainment).
As you can see, just one Spider-Man 2 villain was confirmed so far and that was Venom – who else could it possibly be?
We sincerely hope that Insomniac allow the chance for two players to prevent his reign of destruction across New York City – as this would cancel many social plans!
We will update this article as soon as more information is revealed over the coming weeks and months – so stick with us!
