Tyson Fury has revealed the exact moment he figured out how to beat Deontay Wilder, which occurred during their first heavyweight boxing bout in December 2018.

Their first blockbuster showdown ended in a draw, with many feeling that the Fury's arm should have been raised in victory, despite being knocked down twice by Wilder.

The two eventually contested a rematch in February 2020 which saw the Gypsy King defeat Wilder by knockout in the 7th round, which kept Fury's unbeaten professional boxing record intact.

Fury has vowed to 'smash Wilder to bits' in Las Vegas, where the WBC Heavyweight Championship will be on the line.

"It’s nearly that time of the year again where I take over Las Vegas, and it becomes the home of ‘The Gypsy King,'. And just remember that I plan to smash Deontay Wilder to bits….and I will," Fury exclaimed on a Zoom call earlier with the media.

Ahead of their trilogy fight on October 9, Fury appeared on a FOX Sports promotional video to discuss his chances.

"After the first Wilder fight in the last round when he knocked me down, I got back up and got into it, and he didn’t like it. From that moment on, I knew how to beat Deontay Wilder."

"I knew I had to go forward on him and unload big punches. Looking back at it years later, it was the best thing that could have happened because I got to do it all again." Fury revealed.
