Manchester United were left to lick their wounds after more dropped points in the Premier League on Saturday afternoon. The Red Devils came into their home clash with Everton on the back of a disappointing 1-0 loss to Aston Villa as well as cup defeats to Young Boys and West Ham United. As such, dropping yet more points by way of drawing 1-1 with the Toffees did nothing but ramp up the pressure on Ole Gunnar Solskjaer who many are tipping for a make-or-break campaign.

Man Utd 1-1 Everton

The United boss took the brave decision to mix up his starting XI with Cristiano Ronaldo starting from the bench, but that didn't look to hamper the Red Devils during the opening 45 minutes.

In fact, the hosts took the lead through Anthony Martial's first goal of the season, briefly suggesting that United could catch up with Chelsea, Manchester City and Liverpool in the title race.

But by the time that Andros Townsend rounded off a superb Everton counterattack by finishing past David de Gea, Twitter was once again awash with calls for Solskjaer's head.

Discontent at Old Trafford

United did, at least, manage to hold on for a 1-1 draw, but it was the visitors who looked the more likely to team to score with Yerry Mina having a later winner correctly chalked off for offside.

Either way, though, there could be no denying that the atmosphere around Old Trafford was one of great frustration and disappointment with countless fans expressing their anger with the display.

And two young United supporters managed to vent their displeasure in a particularly viral way when they made an appearance on MUTV.

Viral MUTV clip

Footage of two young lads making a cameo in MUTV's post-match analysis has started to do the rounds on social media and it's easy to see why when you consider how the incident played out.

The presenter was a great sport when the two boys appeared in the background, proceeding to ask: "What did you think of the game?" However, it's fair to say that the responses were not ideal.

With both Solskjaer and Jadon Sancho coming in for criticism, it's no wonder the MUTV presenter proceeded to joke that he'd never trust children ever again. Check out the viral footage below:

Ah, the joys of live broadcasting.

An awkward moment

You've got to take your hat off to the presenter for wanting to get some young football fans involved in the programme, but there was always the risk that they were going to say something critical.

Well, less critical and more proclaiming that the manager should be sacked and a brand new signing is 'c***'. Then again, it's easy to see why that might feel like good craic to jokingly say at that age.

Either way, though, there's no denying that it was an amusing, albeit awkward, demonstration of how the best broadcasting plans can be completely undercut by something unexpected happening.

As for whether or not their 'Ole Out' wishes come true, only time will tell.
