Dnipro defender Samuel Inkoom has claimed he's on the verge of joining Liverpool.
The Ghanaian international, who has played in both a World Cup and African Nations Cup, moved to the Ukraine from FC Basel in January, but is already claiming a switch away from the Dnipro Arena is around the corner.
"Very soon a deal would be complete. My agent is still in talks with them. A scout of Liverpool came over some time back and that was how it started. A deal will soon be done," said Inkoom.
"I cannot say what it will be exactly because nothing has been decided yet on whether I will join Liverpool on loan or move permanently.
"Liverpool is big, one of the biggest names in football. So if everything goes well and God allows it, everyone will know where I am going.
"I hope it would be Liverpool."
The 22-year-old would challenge Glen Johnson and Martin Kelly for a place in the first team at Anfield, and would add to Kenny Dalglish's young revolution taking place on Merseyside.
