WWE: Rey Mysterio currently not cleared due to 'undisclosed medical reason'

Rey Mysterio is not cleared to wrestle, as of right now

According to reports, Rey Mysterio is not cleared for in-ring competition at the moment, but it seems somewhat unclear why.

Fightful Select is reporting that Rey Mysterio is not cleared to wrestle right now, citing an  'undisclosed medical reason' as the cause of his absence from the ring.

The report from Fightful notes that Rey Mysterio, who was drafted over to Monday Night Raw last week, was briefly in Baltimore for SmackDown on Friday night.

Fightful learned as of Friday night that Rey Mysterio was sidelined for an undisclosed medical reason... Mysterio was drafted to WWE Raw on Friday night, and we're told he was briefly at the site of Smackdown. We have no further details on how long he'll be out.

Rey Mysterio was slated to face Roman Reigns at a house show in Puerto Rico on Saturday night, but the match was changed to Finn Balor, Drew McIntyre and Cesaro vs. The Bloodline.

As noted, there is no word on how long Rey Mysterio is going to be out of action for, but stay tuned to GiveMeSport for any potential updates on the matter.

This has come at a pretty bad time for WWE, with reports suggesting that Randy Orton is also not cleared to compete at the moment, with there also being no timetable for his return.

As noted earlier, GiveMeSport will provide you with the latest information on the status of not only Rey Mysterio, but also Randy Orton too.

You can watch live episodes of Monday Night Raw and Friday Night SmackDown over here in the UK on BT Sport.
