I had seen a lot of this shiny VAHA fitness mirror on social media, but hadn’t actually tried it out. So this week I decided to see what all the fuss is about.

It is a good size and looks great, but what exercises does it have and does it actually help you when working out?

To begin with, the VAHA came in a sizeable box and I was able to set it up on my own within 30 minutes, using the helpful instruction manual. Then once plugged in, signing up with the simple VAHA app took no time at all. A good start.

Once the VAHA was switched on, you could tell it was the real deal - a top of the range piece of equipment. The sleek design combined with the mirror and on screen workouts was like nothing I’d seen before. All the information you needed was right in front of you and the exercises, plus music, definitely had a feel-good vibe to it.

I found the on screen fitness instructor extremely helpful, especially for those workouts I’d never done before. If I didn’t quite know what I was doing I could easily get the right action and target the right muscle groups just by watching the screen. Visually, I’d give the VAHA a 10/10.

I’ve never used anything like this before but it’s a great piece of kit and perfect for anyone working out at home. Despite being alone, I felt included in classes and one of the things that stood out the most was the sheer range of exercises available from beginner to advanced.
