Paris Saint-Germain were handed their first defeat of the Ligue 1 season on Sunday afternoon.

The French giants had won eight games out of eight in France's top tier going into their clash against Rennes.

With Rennes languishing in the bottom half having won just twice from their opening eight games, PSG were expected to cruise to victory.

But PSG were shocked at Roazhon Park.

Rennes won 2-0 in a massive shock. Goals from Gaetan Laborde and Flavien Tait secured them the victory.

It was a poor weekend for Neymar. He was not at his best and was substituted off with 14 minutes remaining.

He isn't the only person that's had a poor few days, though.

Mark Zuckerburg, Facebook's co-founder, might have had a worse few days than Neymar.

On Monday afternoon at around 4:45pm (GMT) on October 4, 2021, Facebook, Instagram and WhatsApp all went down.

Neymar is active on social media and he took to Twitter to joke about both his and Zuckerburg's fortunes in the past day.

He wrote, followed by two laughing emojis: "Just Zuck's [Mark Zuckerburg's] weekend and mine that went bad or someone else's too?"

Brilliant. Neymar's tweet almost instantly went viral. It had thousands of retweets within 10 minutes of being posted.

Neymar hasn't had a very good start to the campaign at all. He's scored just twice and recorded two assists in 10 games for PSG in 2021/22.

And former PSG midfielder Edouard Cisse has slammed him, labelling the Brazilian a 'spoilt brat'.

"At Barcelona there was a structure," Cisse told Le Parisien, per Goal. "[Neymar] had a cleaner style of play, although he dribbled more.

"His job was to break the defensive line, make the difference and pass the ball to General [Lionel] Messi. He did it so well that he became his 'alter ego'.

"In Paris, they gave him the keys and they let him do what he wanted. In one moment, he was lost.

"He is a great player, no one can dispute that, but he has become a spoilt brat and he bosses everyone around."
