Another year, another WWE Draft to stir the pot and shake up the action.

The second and final round of picks concluded on the latest instalment of Monday Night Raw, seeing huge moves for the likes of Seth Rollins, Drew McIntyre, and Edge.

Becky Lynch was also amongst the SmackDown stars to be drafted onto WWE's red brand on Monday.

The Man took a hiatus from wrestling in 2020 to give birth to her daughter, Roux. When she left, she had held the Raw Women's Championship title for more than a year – surpassing Ronda Rousey as the longest reigning women's champion at the time.

Lynch relinquished her title to Asuka as she announced her real-life pregnancy before taking a lengthy spell away from the ring.

Fast forward 15 months and the Irish star made her long-awaited return at SummerSlam. However, The Man competed over on SmackDown instead, which surprised some fans who predicted a Lynch storm to return to unfinished business on Raw.

Charlotte Flair Becky Lynch

It took less than 30 seconds for Lynch to claim the blue brand title – defeating former champion Bianca Belair at SummerSlam and claiming the belt for the fourth time in her career.

But now she's had some fun on SmackDown, it's time for The Man to return to the Monday Night roster and wreak havoc.

What can we expect from Becky Lynch on WWE Raw?

Having won the Raw Women's Championship just once compared to her four SmackDown titles, Lynch will be eager to take back the belt she gave up in 2020.

Since her comeback, she has turned heel for the first time in her career, which was a move she reportedly orchestrated herself.

But why would one of the most popular babyfaces of WWE want to switch persona so drastically?

The answer may lie in the Draft results.

Current Raw women's champion Charlotte Flair has made the switch to SmackDown, along with ultimate villain Shayna Baszler. This leaves just Alexa Bliss and Nia Jax as Raw's notable female heels.

Bliss, despite actually getting the crowd on side in recent weeks, is taking a break from wrestling to undergo surgery, and Jax has now been stripped of her tag team partner.

There's a huge space for a new heel to slip into over on Raw and Lynch could emerge as the alpha.

Becky Lynch vs Bianca Belair

Belair has also been drafted onto Raw, which could see the two former SmackDown rivals resume their feud.

The Man will face off against The EST of WWE and Sasha Banks on the Crown Jewel title card at the end of the month.
