Werder Bremen winger Marko Marin is continuing to attract attention from Liverpool and Tottenham Hotspur, according to the Daily Mail.

The 22-year-old has caught the eye throughout Europe with some dazzling displays for the Bundesliga outfit.

However, with Breman having finish well off the pace in the race for European qualification last season, with the likes of Bayer Munich and Borussia Dortmund expected to dominate this season, talk of a move to Liverpool and Tottenham has refused to go away.

Liverpool search far and wide for a winger in the summer, with the club eventually settling for signing Stewart Downing from Aston Villa.

Tottenham Hotspur's interest in Marin perhaps came from the fear of loosing Gareth Bale in the summer transfer window.

Despite the Welsh winger still being at White Hart Lane, Harry Redknapp's is yet to lose interest, with Tottenham looking to propel themselves back into the Champions League spots, matching the ambition of Marin.

Liverpool meanwhile will also have ambitions of qualifying for Europe, and the result of their tussle for that fourth Champions League spot, could be decisive in the race for the player compared to Lionel Messi.
