Ultimate Fighting Championships will be presenting UFC 267 with two major Title fights set to take place on the card, but what date is the event?

Jan Błachowicz will be defending his Light Heavyweight Title on the card, following his win over Israel Adesanya back in March at UFC 259.

UFC will be returning to the Etihad Arena in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates for the event, which is set to take place in late October.

As mentioned, Błachowicz will be defending the UFC 205 pound title against Glover Teixeira.

Aljamain Sterling was originally expected to be defending his Bantamweight title at the end, however, he has had to withdraw due to injury.

Sterling’s original opponent, Petr Yan, will now be facing Cory Sandhagen for the Interim Bantamweight Title on the card.

Another major contest on the card will see Islam Makhachev take on Dan Hooker, with the Australian Hooker saying that this fight is the “next best thing” to getting into the Octagon with Khabib Nurmagomedov, who of course retired back in 2020.

He said to MMA Fighting: “If I could fight any lightweight on the face of the planet, it would be Khabib. I want to see how I measure up with him. It’s no lie that Islam’s the next best thing.

“Beating Islam is the only opportunity you’re going to get to show what would have happened if you got in there with Khabib when he was champion. There’s a lot of exciting aspects about this fight. It’s just another one. I feel like it’s a perfect time for this fight to come together.”
