Tyson Fury has made it clear to his brother Tommy that he cannot afford to lose against Jake Paul - and has threatened him with terrible repercussions if he does.
Fury, 33, has been busy preparing for his third showdown against Deontay Wilder this weekend.
But he was asked about a crossover bout between the YouTuber-turned-boxer, 24, and the Love Island star, 22, and had this to say on the matter.
“I think the fight needs to happen – Tommy and Jake will get the fight done,” Tyson told Boxing Social.
“If Tommy can’t splatter Jake Paul, I’ll retire him from boxing myself. If he can’t beat Jake Paul, forget about boxing.
“Because he’s got ambitions of being a world champion, never mind beating some YouTube guy.
“But it’s a great fight for the social media world and for all the kids out there who support them both.
“It’s a great fight to watch, it’s a spectacle.
“But Tommy – his name’s Fury. If he can’t beat Jake Paul, I’ll have to change his name.”
Paul (4-0, 3 KOs), 24, has won every single fight in his career so far. Known as 'The Problem Child', the 24-year-old from Westlake has never lost a fight.
In his most recent outing, he outpointed Tyron Woodley in what many considered one of the biggest upsets of the year in Cleveland, Ohio, while Fury cruised to a decision over his friend and training partner Anthony Taylor on the undercard.
The reality TV star, though, reportedly turned down a contract offer of $1 million on social media, as he felt it wasn't enough 'for a fight of this magnitude'.
The fight is danger of collapsing as a result and Paul's manager, Nakisa Bidarian, said they are currently exploring other options.
"We have not made a third offer," he told The Mirror. "Jake has put his line in the sand in terms of what he wants to do.
"I think Frank and George Warren [Fury's promoters] have been working on their side to try and figure out a solution.
"It's not dead, but we definitely have another option lined up.
"Our intention is to do a fight in December, that hasn't changed, Jake has made that very clear.
"Obviously everything has to make sense but usually what Jake Paul wants to do gets done so that's the plan.
"I hope Tommy doesn't become Tommy Danis and fumble this opportunity."
