Alvaro Vadillo’s agent has confirmed that the winger is currently learning English, with Pepe Mel revealing he is aware of interest in the star from abroad.

Vadillo has starred for Rea Betis, and at just 17-years-old, the youngster is hot property on the transfer market.

Today it was reported that Manchester United had a £2.5 million bid turned down for the Spain under 19 international turned down, but United will no doubt continue to chase the starlet in the January window.

And while Vadillo is currently out of action with a knee injury, Mel says he’s learning English to prepare for a possible move next transfer window.

"I advised him that he could use the months that he is out to learn English," he said.

"We are studying offers for him and there has been a concrete one recently from a foreign team. But if he is worth 4million euros today after playing 30 matches then, for example, he could be worth 12million euros and so on."

United are currently reportedly deciding whether to up their bid in the hopes of landing Vadillo, with Sir Alex Ferguson seeing the wonderkid as a future European talent.
