Arsenal winger Theo Walcott is being linked with a shock move to Barcelona.

The England international has been linked with a number of clubs across Europe since the start of the season, with Juventus in Italy thought to be keen on bringing the player to Serie 'A'.

However, The Daily Star is now reporting that Barcelona will attempt to bring the player to the Nou Camp in January, with Arsene Wenger facing a battle to keep the 22-year-old at Arsenal.

With just over a year left on his contract at the Emirates, the Gunners will be well aware of the player's decreasing market value as time goes on without a deal.

It's claimed in the report that Walcott is eager to sign and stay at Arsenal though, the club that gave him his Barclays Premier League break after signing from Southampton in 2006.

An inability to claim silverware during his time in north London could be a factor working against Arsenal though, and with Pep Guardiola claimed to be an admirer, it could be an interesting January should the La Liga champions attempt a move.
