Much as he did at Juventus, Cristiano Ronaldo's introduction into the Manchester United team has been divisive. Clearly, the 36-year-old is as prolific as they come and to suggest anything otherwise would be wide of the mark. Still, it's not exactly clear as to what his best position is and why exactly United chose to sign him ahead of a central midfielder, who could have potentially brought more balance into the team. Indeed, it's tempting to think of the Portuguese as nothing more than an elite penalty-box player these days. Given his advancing years, he's no longer able to dominate the flanks as he did during his first stint at Old Trafford, so it's certainly a logical assumption. XboxaENTER GIVEAWAYHowever, he did often operate to the left of Karim Benzema during his final days at Real Madrid, as well as Alvaro Morata in Turin, so it's not as if he's suddenly morphed into an Alan Shearer-like target man. Exactly where to play him is one of the biggest questions facing United boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer right now. Such is the circus that surrounds Ronaldo, whatever he does and wherever he plays will always be a talking point. That was the case again as Twitter user @LegasusCR7 compiled a video, showcasing Ronaldo's ability to take players on while playing for both Juventus and Portugal recently. Granted, he may not be quite the same as his former self, but the clips would at least suggest he's more than capable of driving at opponents and creating space, rather than simply standing up front by himself. You can watch the video below.

To pigeonhole a man of his talents does seem strange. Part of United's strength is that they boast a varied attacking line, perhaps the most so in the Premier League, so to view him as a fixed-point incapable of floating around would seem strange.

Solskjaer has an awful lot to work out.
