Formula 1 is back in Turkey this weekend for a race at the popular Istanbul Park circuit in what is the latest stage of the 2021 World Championship.

Last year, the Turkish Grand Prix provided the backdrop for Lewis Hamilton to seal his 7th Drivers' title but, this time around, no such event will be taking place with the Briton and Max Verstappen firmly locked in a duel for the crown.

2020's Turkish Grand Prix also lives long in the memory thanks to the slippery conditions a low-grip surface and wet weather combination threw up and, naturally, with the race in a similar slot to last season, there are questions over whether we'll get similar conditions.

Here, then, is the all-important weather forecast for the weekend as things stand...

Right now, Friday and Sunday, most crucially, are looking set for cool but dry conditions with low chances of showers.

That, though, is not the case for Saturday with there currently a considerable chance that we could get rain during qualifying.

That, of course, happened last year too with Lance Stroll profiting most of all as he took his first and only pole position and we'll just have to see if we get another mixed up grid this time around.
