Red Bull driver Max Verstappen is the current odds on favourite to win the Turkish Grand Prix this weekend, with Lewis Hamilton handed a 10-place grid penalty for Sunday's race after taking new components for his Mercedes power unit.

The Dutchman and the Briton have provided a fantastic Formula 1 title race this year and there are plenty more twists and turns to come, with Verstappen set to have the early advantage in Istanbul as the highest grid start Hamilton can have for Sunday is 11th place.

Indeed, that is reflected by the latest odds according to Sky Bet, with Red Bull ace Verstappen currently 8/13 to take the chequered flag first on Sunday afternoon, though Hamilton's chances of victory are still rated as pretty good as he is listed at 10/3 in second place.

Mercedes teammate Valtteri Bottas is an 8/1 shot before the prices really start to increase, with Lando Norris coming in in fourth at 20/1 just two weeks after being a matter of laps away from his first ever Grand Prix victory in Russia.

Verstappen also leads the pole position market at 11/10 to Hamilton's 6/4 whilst the pair are joint favourites for the fastest lap market, currently priced at 7/4.
