Dwayne Johnson releases his first rap song

He's conquered the worlds of professional wrestling and acting, and now Dwayne 'The Rock' Johnson has looking to conquer the world of rap music.

Not content with just being one of the biggest movie stars and one of the most iconic WWE wrestlers, The Rock has announced that he's going to be releasing a new rap song today.

Taking to Twitter yesterday, The Rock revealed that he's going to be collaborating with rappers Tech N9ne, King Iso and Joey Cool to release a new rap single named 'Faceoff'.

You can listen to a clip of The Rock rapping on the track below, with Johnson's musical abilities seemingly impressing fans online.

As noted, the overall reaction to The Rock's debut rap single has been incredibly positive, with many seemingly surprised with just how good it is, with some even wanting him to release his own album.

The Rock is reportedly slated to return to WWE next month, with Survivor Series 2021 set to honour 25 years since the former WWE Champion made his debut for the company in November 1996.

The return is not expected to set up a match for The Rock against Roman Reigns at WrestleMania 38, with that match reportedly happening at WrestleMania 39 in Los Angeles in April 2023.

Regarding plans for Roman Reigns, reports suggest the Universal Champion is going to be feuding with Brock Lesnar for the foreseeable future, which you can read more about by clicking here.

The Rock has been in the news lately, with Bryan Danielson revealing that Johnson and Stone Cold Steve Austin were his 'least favourite' wrestlers as a kid.
