Lana has revealed that she tried to look more like Charlotte Flair while working for WWE, in the hope that she'd be made a champion.

While speaking at a signing for East Coast Autograph Auctions, Lana revealed that she tried to model herself on the Raw Women's Champion to try and get WWE to make her a top champion.

Lana then seemed to suggest that Charlotte Flair has benefitted from the fact she is "genetically superior" and has Ric Flair as her father, saying:

“These were my bulking days. Probably 2017-2018, I felt like if I could bulk up and look like Charlotte Flair, then maybe I could become champion. Unfortunately, it didn’t work out for me. You know, not everyone can be genetically superior and also have a famous father that is 16, 17 time (champion). His daughter is going to surpass him pretty soon,” said Lana.

Charlotte Flair has seemingly not yet responded to the comments made by Lana, and it remains to be seen whether or not she actually will.

Lana's fan signing has caught fans' attention, with the former WWE star speaking about how she got a call from Vince McMahon after changing up her hairstyle without permission, which you can read more about by clicking here.

Lana was released by WWE on June 2, and now that her 90-day non-compete clause is up, she's free to work for any promotion that she chooses.

Some have speculated that Lana could follow her husband Miro into AEW, but no reports have indicated that Tony Khan has approached the former WWE star with an offer.
