WWE: Remembering Bray Wyatt's massive win against The Shield in 2014

Bray Wyatt is, of course, a free agent.

The former Fiend has departed WWE and is yet to find himself a new home despite reports linking him with a variety of outlets.

AEW has been touted as a potential landing spot, as has Impact Wrestling, but it's worth remembering just how brilliant Bray was in WWE.

Indeed, back in 2014, the former WWE Universal Champion was involved in an absolute barn-burner against The Shield at Elimination Chamber 2014.

Tucked in the middle of a card that was headlined by an Elimination Chamber match between Randy Orton, Daniel Bryan, John Cena, Cesaro, Christian and Sheamus, The Shield's clash with the Wyatts absolutely stole the show.

They went just over 20 minutes and, before they even touched, there was a 'this is awesome' chant doing the rounds in the crowd.

It was a match in which every single part clicked, with Erick Rowan living up to his brawling style, the late, great Luke Harper more than matching Roman Reigns, Seth Rollins and Dean Ambrose, and Bray Wyatt established as a major star.

Going into the match, Dean Ambrose was WWE United States Champion but he was eventually taken out of the bout, as he fought with Wyatt into the crowd.

Harper and Rowan then teamed to send Seth Rollins through the announce table, leaving Roman Reigns to fight from underneath.

The Big Dog, as he was then, was well known for overcoming insurmountable odds and there was a real possibility that the match had been structured to give Roman another huge win.

Indeed, Reigns tried to spear Wyatt but Harper put himself in harm's way, sacrificing himself for his partner.

Bray subsequently pulled Roman Reigns into Sister Abigail, and pinned him clean in the middle of the ring.

Bray was only the third wrestler to pin Roman, after Jey Uso and Cody Rhodes.

Let this stand as a testament to just how brilliant he was for WWE.
