The 30 male nominees for the 2021 Ballon d’Or have been unveiled.
France Football’s prestigious prize has made its long-awaited return after the COVID-19 pandemic saw the 2020 ceremony scrapped in what would surely have been a win for Robert Lewandowski.
However, one year later, the Bayern Munich striker will have another shot at glory as his joins the beautiful game’s top performers across the last 12 months ahead of the awards gala in November.

Besides, although the likes of Mason Mount, Leonardo Bonucci and Harry Kane don’t stand a chance at winning the top prize, their performances across 2021 are still worthy of praise.
