Journalist Stuart Hodge believes that Daniel Farke needs to find roles in his Norwich starting XI for Christos Tzolis and Milot Rashica.

The duo joined the Canaries for a combined fee of £19.8m over the summer, but have failed to hit the ground running at Carrow Road.

How have Tzolis and Rashica started at Norwich?

After leaving his homeland of Greece to move to Norwich, Tzolis has struggled to cement himself in the team, as he has started just one of the first seven Premier League games. He did offer a glimpse of his talent in the Carabao Cup, though, scoring twice and delivering two assists in a 6-0 victory over Bournemouth in August.

Rashica has been more heavily involved, featuring in all of Norwich's top-flight games this term. He has been in and out of the starting line-up, and is yet to find the net for his new club.

What has Hodge said about Tzolis and Rashica?

Hodge feels that Farke needs to find his best attack quickly before Norwich are cut adrift at the bottom of the table. With this in mind, he has stated that the German coach should give Tzolis and Rashica more opportunities to fulfill their potential.

Speaking to GIVEMESPORT, Hodge said: “That’s going to be one of the big challenges. As well as getting the goals, it’s going to be fitting the attacking pieces together in a way that everyone can get a good spread of game time, particularly a young player like Tzolis for example, or Rashica, who’s not quite as young but clearly has ability, given his exploits in the Bundesliga when he was doing well at Bremen. It’s about how you fit those pieces together and make it work as a whole.”

How important could Tzolis and Rashica be in Norwich's bid for survival?

Norwich badly need to improve in the final third if they are to have any chance of staying up this season. Two goals in seven top-flight matches is a woeful return, and if they continue like this they will be heading straight back down to the Championship in May.

That is why Farke needs to get Tzolis and Rashica firing. Tzolis is still a teenager, but looks to have bags of talent, whereas Rashica is now 25 and ought to be entering his peak.

If these two players can find their feet in East Anglia soon, Norwich may yet be able to defy the odds and stay in the Premier League beyond this season.
