Fans of Hammarby IF have gone viral after creating an incredible atmosphere for the team’s Stockholm derby with AIK.Hammarby beat their rivals 4-1, with Madelen Janogy, Alice Carlsson, Berglind Björg Þorvaldsdóttir and Emma Jansson all on the scoresheet. Honoka Hayashi scored the solitary goal for AIK.The home side secured victory in front of a record 18,537 attendance, with jubilant fans packed into the Tele2 Arena.Clips of the incredible atmosphere have now gone viral. The first video to capture the attention of social media users was of the Hammarby IF fans singing and chanting on the way to the stadium.The fans are then shown giving the home side an incredible welcome to the pitch, before loudly showing their appreciation to the players after the final whistle.

Twitter users have described the videos as "amazing" and "very cool", with many claiming they got goosebumps while watching.

Others have used the videos to disprove the theory that people do not care about women's football. "Nobody cares about women's football, they said," one Twitter user joked. 

Hammarby compete in Sweden’s top tier of women’s football – Damallsvenskan. They are currently fifth in the table with 28 points, 20 points off FC Rosengård. AIK trail considerably, sitting 11th with 16 points.

The squad includes a number of international players, including Sweden's Janogy and Australia's Elise Kellond-Knight. The side, who last won the Damallsvenskan in 1985, is managed by Pablo Piñones Arce.
