eFootball 2022 continues to receive criticism far and wide and Pro Evolution Soccer (PES) fans have noticed something on social media which just sums up the game in a nutshell.

Konami, the game's developers, recently issued an apology to those that have played the game after an array of glitches and bugs were spotting in the rebranded free-to-play title, proving no match to their American rivals EA and FIFA 22 so far.

Things got so bad, that review websites and users gave eFootball 2022 a massively negative score on the review website Metacritic.

The Japanese gaming giants have pledged to improve eFootball 2022 and will release a new patch in the coming weeks which will target ironing out these technical issues. 

The initial reception to the game was encapsulated by a discovery that one Reddit user found on the social media site.
