UFC is set to kick off 2022 with a bang and a major fight card towards the end of January, but what is the fight card for UFC 270?

Several fights appear to have already been decided for the event, with a major Heavyweight unification fight set to headline the broadcast.

Here is everything you need to know about the UFC 270 fight card that takes place on Saturday 22nd January 2022 from the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada.

The seemingly confirmed main event of the show will see Francis Ngannou put his UFC Heavyweight Championship on the line for the very first time against Interim Heavyweight Champion Ciryl Gane.

Another of the fights on the card will see Middleweight contenders Derek Brunson and Jared Cannonier face-off to determine the next #1 contender to Israel Adesanya and the 180-pound gold in the UFC.

t has been rumored that Adesanya will be facing Robert Whittaker at the UFC 270 event for the gold, with the winner of that contest going on to face the winner of Brunson vs Cannonier, although comments from Adesanya’s coach seem to indicate that Brunson was already chosen to be the next in line.

He said: "Brunson. It might be Rob, but I don't know. Brunson's at five wins since he's fought Israel and Robert's at three. Brunson also had (Darren) Till, (Kevin) Holland, (Edmen) Shahbazyan and a couple more.

“Yeah, so Till they have in common. You've got Shahbazyan, another up-and-comer and Holland. Those three names are just as big as the ones that Robert's beat, plus (Elias) Theodorou and (Ian) Heinisch. I'm like, 'He seems to have put his hand up the highest, and looks like he's going to be next.'"
