Brock Lesnar will be taking some time away from WWE following his Universal Championship match with Roman Reigns at Crown Jewel, it is being reported.

WrestlingNews.co is reporting that Brock Lesnar's final date for WWE in 2021 is going to be on October 21 at Crown Jewel.

The site notes that Lesnar is not going to be back on WWE TV until the end of January 2022 ahead of the Royal Rumble.

This means that, according to WrestlingNews.co's report, WWE is planning for Brock Lesnar to have a big match at the Royal Rumble next year on January 29:

Also, we were told that after Crown Jewel, Lesnar is not scheduled for any more WWE shows this year and the next time he is scheduled to wrestle is during the Royal Rumble pay-per-view in St. Louis. The 2022 Royal Rumble is scheduled for Saturday, January 29 at The Dome at America’s Center.

WWE is reportedly planning on having Roman Reigns and Brock Lesnar have more than one match in their feud, so it's possible that the Royal Rumble 2022 will be the event one of them, with WrestleMania 38 also being heavily rumoured and speculated.

The fact that Brock Lesnar will reportedly not be working any dates in 2021 after Crown Jewel also likely gives away that Roman Reigns is going to be beating him in Saudi Arabia at next week's show.

While it's happened before, WWE would likely decide to keep the Universal Championship on Roman Reigns if Brock Lesnar wasn't going to be on TV for over two months.

Brock Lesnar is slated to appear on next week's Supersized SmackDown, which is also the go-home show from the blue brand before Crown Jewel on October 21.
