Becky Lynch had a special request for Dwayne 'The Rock' Johnson prior to her return to WWE at SummerSlam in August.

Becky Lynch returned to WWE at SummerSlam on August 21, beating Bianca Belair in a matter of seconds in an impromptu match to win the SmackDown Women's Championship.

After cheap-shotting Belair, Becky Lynch hit the Manhandle Slam to secure the win, which is a variation of The Rock's iconic Rock Bottom finisher.

Speaking on the Out of Character podcast, Becky Lynch revealed that she phoned The Rock prior to her return at SummerSlam to ask for permission to add his signature move to her arsenal.

"So I used a variation of The Rock Bottom before but it's just easier to get it and go. I asked The Rock if I could use it and he was very gracious and said that I could. Called him. Yeah, yeah, yeah. And I told him how SummerSlam is gonna go down. And said, 'Look, here's what I'm thinking. I'm supposed to hit one move on her. Can I use this?' 'Yeah!'" recalled Lynch.

Becky Lynch had used the move previously, but never as one of her signature move to end matches, hence why she decided to ask The Rock for permission before doing so.

The Rock has been in the news lately, impressing fans with his performance in his debut rap single, which you can read more about by clicking here.
