Reporter Luke Hatfield has praised Adam Reach's impact at West Brom this season.
The 28-year-old made the switch to the Hawthorns on a free transfer this summer after his contract had expired at Sheffield Wednesday.
How has Reach performed at West Brom?
He arrived at West Brom with a reputation of being capable of scoring the spectacular, whilst also the ability to chip in with an assist, following several fine performances over his five years with the Owls.
Reach hasn't yet scored in Baggies colours but has worked his way into Valerien Ismael's team after a tricky start, playing 90 minutes in each of their last five Championship fixtures and registered his first goal involvement against Cardiff last month when he teed up Karlan Grant for the opener, which earned him the man of the match award in South Wales.
His WhoScored rating is only 6.85, which is ninth in the West Brom squad, but Reach has played in an unfamiliar left-back role in half of his eight appearances, with Conor Townsend recently dropping back into the back-three following injuries elsewhere.
Hatfield, though, reckons that Reach has upped his game since switching Sheffield for the Midlands after suffering relegation with Wednesday last season.

He told GIVEMESPORT: "He's been brilliant. He was a signing which some fans questioned, some Sheffield Wednesday fans didn't give him glowing reviews, but at Albion he's stepped up and I think sometimes that change of scenery does help a player and the fact that they've been battling at the right end of the table probably helps."
How important could Reach be for West Brom?
Valerien Ismael recently described Reach as the "perfect" player for West Brom and his experience and quality at this level could prove key in their fight for promotion.
He's yet to taste promotion in his career having left Middlesbrough prior to their return to the Premier League back in 2016, but his ability to both score and assist and play in several different positions could see him become a crucial figure for Ismael.
Reach hasn't yet played in the Premier League before, but he's reached the play-offs with Sheffield Wednesday, which means he has experience of playing in high-pressure games, something that's likely to be needed if West Brom want to bounce back at the first time of asking.
