In the social media age, footballers have become far less distant. Indeed, with the advent of platforms that allow even the biggest players in the game to show their human sides, supporters can feel a lot more connected to their favourite stars. There is perhaps no better example of that than how the current England team are viewed. Where before the Three Lions were looked on with absolute apathy after so many disappointments, Gareth Southgate has established a connection between players and fans. As a result, we now get some thoroughly enjoyable content. That was on show when the England media team talked to both Jadon Sancho and Tammy Abraham about an incident during the recent win over Andorra. While the five-goal thumping was a relatively routine affair for this England team, Sancho's speed and skill were on display particularly. Those who doubt 21-year-old may point to the fact that it was 'only Andorra' but, frankly, the Manchester United star can only play what's put in front of him. XboxENTER GIVEAWAYSuch is his physical and technical threat, the winger wreaked such havoc that one of his markers was left in a heap on the ground when trying to keep up with him. Andorra defender Ildefons Lima, 20 years older than Sancho, injured his hamstring when attempting to track the forward and was duly forced off in the 63rd minute despite only coming on in the 31st himself. After the game, the 41-year-old tweeted: "When the sniper hits the target, calm down next time @Sanchooo10" with a photo of him in pain as he grabs his hamstring. Watching it back, Abraham can't believe his eyes. You can watch the video below.

The Roma striker - no stranger in making defenders look foolish himself - merely covers his mouth in awe.

Sancho, to his credit, defenders Lima.

"You know what it is, we can't even be laughing at my bro," he says.

"The man is 41. Certain man don't even get to that age."

Respectful from Sancho, it's nice to see England players reacting to their brilliance in front of supporters. For United, they will certainly hope he can take that sort of form back to Old Trafford.
